Badlands requires 2' above the highest point of the vehicle ( roof for me)

I have one of these:

where do you all have your flags mounted?

I was planning on attaching mine to my spare mount using a wing nut (already have the wing nut)..

what you all think?

I bought one of those my first time out to Badlands. I took the metal bracket that it came with, and attached it to my spare tire carrier using one of the nuts that holds the carrier on to the swing gate. Then, I remove the flag when I don't need it. The bracket stays there for next time I go.
