My Crd has been having a weird no start issue for a while where it would only sometimes start when cold. I’ve tested my fuel pressure which is 900 while cranking and 4k when running. I also checked injector leakoff and found a decent amount of it. Not sure if it’s causing or caused by low fuel pressure.
Any ideas?

900psi ? That's low should be around 4000psi on cranking, when it starts do you get a cloud of white smoke?

That's pointing towards a leaking injector dribbling into a cylinder. Unfortunately that means time to pull them out and get a fuel injection specialist to test them.

I am having the same problem. Mine won’t start when cold, just cranks. If I plug in the block heater for a couple hours, it’ll start after about 5 to 7 seconds of cranking. Otherwise it runs like a dream. Since this started, I’ve replaced the glow plugs, from the original ceramic to the 7 V steel, as well as the glow plug relay module. No change after that. Also replaced the crank positioning sensor. No change my mechanic believes the answer is going to be some kind of a glow plug issue; he’s gonna do diagnostics on January 2. I’ll keep you posted.

clarification/correction. I’m in Seattle where cold means about 32 to 45°F. And it did start one particularly warm morning, it was about 50°. Without the block heater. It was starting good until early November.

Have you checked to see if you have a suppy to the glow plugs?
Is it cranking as fast as it used to?

The only times it starts is when it is cold. The flow plugs are 5v and it seems to have good cranking speed. It is just low on cranking fuel pressure.

Sorry, I was responding to Billy who is struggling to start in the cold! I should have tagged it onto his post!

thanks. This is Bill Y. One of the glow plugs is getting power, but I haven’t checked the other three, because, is any Liberty CRD owner knows, the things a bastard to work on!
I’m pretty much done, can I take it to my regular mechanic next week. He thinks it’s the glow plugs, my fear is that it’s low compression.
At any rate, he has the tools and knowledge to check out everything. So hopefully I’ll know more next week.
