Hello everybody. Just joined the site because my daughter is getting her license soon and I'm considering a KJ as her first vehicle. I've owned/built a few Jeeps in the past and if Jeep offers a mid-size truck again I'll probably pick one up.
Hoping to get some input as I shop for a KJ in the $5k range...model years to focus on or avoid, common issues to watch out for, stuff like that. The plan is to get the vehicle up on maintenance and then do a couple small things like level it out, toss on some AT tires, and some cosmetic stuff.
Here are a couple pictures of my last Jeep, a 2000 XJ that I built from stock in 2009. It was a great vehicle but I really needed a truck.
