Hey All,

Just bought my new-to-me KJ a couple weeks ago, looking to build this for mild offroading to campground while towing my dirtbike.

Ive ordered a hitch kit, and will be doing the trailer wiring over the summer. Currently chasing around the water running noise in the heatcore area, must be air trapped in the system ive been trying to bleed it our periodically but is a pain in the ass. Have a squeaky shock or suspension component in the rear, and sometimes a small clunk when im rolling under no load then hit the gas.

Otherwise, very clean vehicle in great shape. Going to have to pick away at standard maintenance items as it has 211,000kms before i look at any lift kits.

Check out the free hitch recall. Hitches were offered to protect the fuel tank.

Some only got a non-hitch reinforcement bracket with no reciever.

How have you been bleeding the cooling system, from top rad hose hex bleed HOT ?

Check the Hoat coolant tank & cap for any cracks in the Mopar cap seal rated 16 psi.

I'd find a shop with adapters to pressure test the system and ensure it it holds pressure at 15 psi if problems persist.

The mopar thermostat has a built in brass bleed air pin. Use only Mopar Hoat or Zerex G-05 coolant.
If the wrong coolant has ever been added, the whole system needs to be flushed with HOAT.
