hey guys,
i'm new here (first post), i test drove a 2012 KK 4x2 last night.
sport, basic with power everything, and the bluetooth and voice command thing. not all the bells and whistles. which i think is the Driver Convenience Group.

my question is, what is a fair price on it ?
sticker is $24,600, dealer offered $23,900 - $3000 rebates or $20,900.
please let me know what you guys think.

and what do you think are the pros and cons on that specific model ?
if you guys give me good insight, i'll be driving home with it on monday.
Thank you all.

Sounds fair to me. I mean you can't really get much better than that right now. Liberty sales have picked up lately.

... I know you live in Houston but have you thought about a 4x4? :)

A 4x2 Jeep is just useless to me. I have needed my 4x4 even without offroading or snow.

Price sounds fair to me, not bad for a brand new vehicle. Some new car prices are outta site. What color is it? How long is the factory warranty?

Thank you all for your reply.
i am in houston, and my girlfriend will be driving the KK more than i will.
i got my truck that i use 99% of the time.
it's the deep cherry red. facotry warrent is 3/36 and 5/100 powertrain.
4x2. we do not have the need for a 4x4, never had the need for it, and i even go wheelin in the truck which is 4x2.
also, price is a factor, if i can get a 4x4 for the same price, i'd go for it.

any issues i should know about ?

You need 4X4 for wheeling and even then you will get stuck at times and need to get strapped out. Also 4X4 is more expensive to buy and worth more wnen it is time to sell it also so you get your money back anyway.

Just some thoughts.

I always do my research on Edmunds.com Here's the 2012 link

http://www.edmunds.com/jeep/liberty/2012/?sub=suv

Get on the dealer website or Jeep website and look over the window sticker, then put all features in and you should get your price.

Also, do your homework on what your trade is worth before going to the dealer--if you have one that is.

Good luck.
