When i engage from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel i'm hearing a what sounds like
gears messing .. almost like it not fully engaged. if i put a little load on it it sound goes away.. would this be a bad cv joint or a bad universal ... :shrug: Thanks for any help:party52:

Definitely check the rear cv on the front driveshaft. After that I'd do a tcase fluid change.

I recommend new plugs because most of the time the only way to get the plugs out is to use a easy out.
Not a bad idea. I just did mine and the plugs came out fine. Would not have liked to make a rush trip to the auto parts store if they hadn't. :)
