Need good instructions on removing radio..

surround. I know about the one screw down near the lighter but are there hooks or snap fittings or ??? at the top & sides. I dont want to force it without knowing whats there.

Just remove the screw and gently pull towards you from the bottom.
Just that easy!
There are four clips, two on either side of the surround, one by the A/C heater controls
and one on either side of the radio.(Approximately)

It comes out easily. Like Ryan said just take out that screw and pull from the bottom. I usually put my jeep in 1st to get the shifter out of the way(if you have an automatic)

Make sure you don't pull so hard that you yank the wire out of the outlet and watch your vacuum lines for the climate control.

It seems to me that if you pull from the bottom there is like a hand hold down there specifically meant to be used to remove the trim. It's right at the bottom up under the trim.
