I think i've been on that road. I thought that was the coolest thing when i saw it.

It's Camden State Park on Hwy 23, West of Marshall MN. The bad thing is the signs only work right when they maintain the ditches and right now the grass is up high and the sensors keep getting set off by wind and big weeds blowing around between them.

Once they finally mow it that will change. They have had a lot of problems with it. The batteries were dying too fast so the put in power to them, then the electric bill was too high so they went to solar panels and larger storage batteries. Thousands of dollars later they sorta work now.

Don't know, mine never had it. Neither does my neighbors. Was it standard??

Yes....

The 04 and earlier badges were worse quality than the 05+....so it probably looked nasty and the dealer pulled it off....:)

Ahh ok. Well maybe i can get an 05+ and put it on there then... LOL I like the way it looks though so no big deal. I mean we all know its a Jeep anyway!

My neighbor has an 04 i think, his is silver and its bone stock also, he doesn't have it either. But i have seen some in the parking lot at Wal-Mart that had the badge. I thought it was a Limited edition thing since mine and his is the Sport.

Southeast of disorder...
Just had a chance to sift thru this post - I really hate going up against other creatures, but if it's me or them I choose me! Had a close call several years ago in north AZ, running along I-40 late night and came across a deer standing in the middle of the westbound lanes - I noticed him and hit the brakes, his rear-end dipped and he bolted for the median just before I would have hit him. Pulled over and got out to check the seat and make sure the cushion was still in place ;) Turns out there is an old holding pond from the steam-locomotive days that the local wildlife use.
BTW: In your link, I believe those are Corwyyn's pics. Maybe he'll chime in.
Yeah those are mine, they are actually the older ones from my original write-up. The current versions (bit better quality) can be found on the Jeep Liberty wiki site and hydepins' Jeep Projects site.

Oh and nice install on the Yeasu! It's nice to see someone else using the power feed for the relay box instead of going directly to the positive terminal of the battery (which can lead to corrosion and all other sorts of nastiness  ).

Looks good. The body shop did a good job. Without the jeep badge on the hood it looks more sleek. Some take all the badges off. It's just a matter of preference I think.

I never go direct to the battery if i can avoid it, in this case the Jeep was so easy! A pre-existing hole through the firewall, perfectly sizes studs in the relay box, just plug and play for me!

The body shop here does good work. When the wife had the accident last year with the PT Cruiser we had that back on the road in a few days, and that was a lot worse than this, that needed body work and paint also.

I like it without the hood badge, just a smoother sleeker look. Plus there isn't something for snow and ice to hang onto in the winter! The long emblem on the hood of the car builds up ice and snow and then your going down the road and you get an ice bomb flying at the windshield.

Nice looking Jeep you have there!
I really like the Sport version over the Limited. I like the gray fender flares and bumpers. Adds a nice contrast as well as texture to them.
Looks more "Jeep" like to me!

Thanks, and yes i agree! It really drew my eye to it with the contrasting bumpers and flares. I have looked and the newer Liberty's with the painted flares and bumpers, the body style is nice, but i like the difference in color and texture that the Sport has.
