Malfunction code p 1216

Can anyone tell me what p 1216 code means. My Liberty is a 2005 crd. We have been pleased so far but now it is jerking on take off after driving and stopping (feels like torque convertor is staying locked up). It goes dead after cold start and placed in reverse. I hope it is a simple computer fix or bad sensor of some kind.

I do not know much about the crd, but I would say its the torque convertor problem that I read alot about.

Ok, I called both Jeep dealers in town and both did not wish to tell me what code 1216 indicates. They did say that the ball joint recall for all models would be issued late next month. That was news to me. I thought it was only for certain year models not all models. Oh welln maybe DCJ wants to eliminate a potential suit by not issuing an across the board recall.
