I don't see too many Libertys in Emergency Services, & I'm planning on going into the fire service, eventually putting lights, siren, & radio in my PV. I've had a couple suggestions of where to put lights. I have the off-road Baja lights factory on my '04 Liberty, & I haven't found any photos online of ones that have the rails on top and the lights. I got the suggestion of putting hide away LEDs in my Baja lights if there's enough room. Then hide aways in my grill, head & tail lights. I think I'll end up going with a handheld siren control. Not sure what kinda radio I'm gonna mount it yet....
I'm open to suggestions if anybody has any. Thank you. :patriot:

Galls.com has everything you need for strobes and sirens. As for a radio you could just look on amazon.com

I can get you pictures of mine if you want. I lots of goodies on my jeep. Stay away from galls unless you want to spend extra money on the same stuff. I install lights, sirens, and radios professionally for several fire, police, and ems departments in my county, so if you need help or have questions, feel free to ask me. I can point you in the right direction for cheaper, but effective lighting. Dont waste your time with stuff from china, because it will be dimmer, less effective, and unsafe to rely on. Also, the WOLO lights are plain out dim and should not be used by any emergency vehicle. Whelen, Code3, federal signal, star, and soundoff signal are the main companies out there now. I use each for different applications, each has their good and bad product. PM me for the dealers out there with the best prices on name brand companies.

On the other hand, you need to join a department before you should worry about putting lights in your rig. Nobody likes a new guy who just is in it for the lights, not saying thats you dont get me wrong. If you do some searching on this site, you will find that there are a few other FF/EMTs out there with lighting setups in their vehicles. Hope this helps!

I'm not gonna put anything on it yet 'cause I haven't been officially voted on yet. I found some photos on a Google image search a while back of some that have them, that's actually how I found this forum 'cause the photos were from a thread on here. I like seeing photos of how other people in Emergency Services set there's up, if nothing else outta my own morbid curiosity. I know several people personally on the department already, so I kinda know most of the major brands, & I've heard just about the same opinion you have on Gall's about most of their stuff, ha ha. I've heard really great things about Whelen, Code3, & Federal Signal. There's also another company I can't remember the name of that uses some Whelen stuff in their lights but its cheaper & works really well. Somebody got a nice rear deck lightbar from them. And strobesnmore.com seems to have decent stuff.

This definitely helps. So thank you for replying!

As for me, I have an interior lightbar, mirror lights, rear hide aways, and a headlight flasher. I wouldnt recommend putting strobes in them due to the size of them, wouldnt work nearly as well. I can post up a picture if you would like. I would recommend strobesnmore.com, pretty good pricing and a good selection. When you get closer to it, let me know and I can help you with the more technical parts of it.
