It's been raining all day here. Non stop. I was in my liberty arranging my CDs and stuff and I noticed that at all 4 corners of the sunroof drips of water were coming in. The headliner isn't wet, so I am assuming the drains are doing there job. Is this normal??

Mine does the same thing, I've noticed it one time in the car wash. I can hear the dripping but when I put my hands up around it there is nothing. I just figured they had some kind of drain system too but i don't know for sure.

I may have the same situation though because I also have an '06 Limited KJ 4x4

I tried adjusting the glass panel via the 4 torx-20 screws. I adjusted it the best I could. Still got some drips though. Looks the the glass panel seal isn't "fat" enough to make a 100% seal all around the sunroof.

I may have to take her into the dealership and have them replace the glass panel seal.

The seal isn't there to keep 100% of the water out. It's there to keep the wind noise out. Water will come in; that's the reason there are drains on each corner.

If you think you have excessive amounts of water coming in, you can vent the sunroof and use a mild dish soap to clean the bulb of the seal, and the flat edges of the roof opening. A lot of dust and grime builds up there. Then put a little bit of silicone lubricant on your finger and rub it on the bulb all the way around. Don't forget to retract the panel and do the front edge too.

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
Your sunroof, convertible top,and even justa normal vehicle without eitehr is only guaranteed to seal "Normal Atmospheric Pressure" which is water pressure no more then 22psi.

Sounds like your drain tubes might be some what blocked.

This is my first sunroof, I didn't know that some water might/probably will come in. I guess that's why there are drain tubes. I guess its normal to have some dripping into the gutter down to the drains.

There is no excessive water and nothing is getting soaked. Just normal dripping I guess.

I think you're good to go.

When my '02 sits outside overnight in the rain, and I jump in first thing in the morning, I can hear water sloshing back and forth a few times when I go around that first corner, until it's all drained out. I complained about this bitterly, and made them document it on the service record just in case it should ever cause a problem after the warranty expired. But it hasn't been a problem; I've never had water in the cabin or in the headliner. It all stays in the sunroof module pan.
