KK Owners: Firewall access

OK I have just *one* question for you KK guys...

There's a hole in the firewall of the KJ Liberty, about 1x3.4" which I've heard was used for the clutch linkage... to the left of the brake pedal.

... is it still there?

Yep, but mine is a 6-speed so it's being used. Oddly enough, looks like the clutch and brakes use the same fluid reservoir, I've never seen that before. Is that common?

And people say the kk is totally different than the kj.

Even the exhaust looks the same from what I can tell in the thread with the magnaflow.
