KK and KJ front diff

Is the only difference steel vs aluminium?

Both are aluminum but the KK one is closer to a standard Dana 30 center section, I think all normal D30 gears, lockers etc fit the KK one, unlike the KJ D30A.

Two different diffs
hence the 30a in the KJ which only uses gears made just for it whereas the KKs shares with JKs etc
