Kj front tow hooks price question

So I see that you can get the stud plates for $15.25 a piece at the dealer and they want $120.00 for part # 82206124 which is a set of (2) hooks and plates.

Is there a cheaper option for the hooks? Are they model or Jeep specific?

They are dealer only items and vehicle specific for the KJ/KK.

You can find them online

Check ebay and you will find the oem tow hooks for the liberty for around 70-100 dollars. Thats how I bought mine.

The front tow hooks are made for the KJ. (OEM KJ specific) They have special u-bolts that feed through the holes in the frame for attaching the hooks. I got mine at the dealer for around $98 or so if I remember right. Mine is an 05 and I put them on when the KJ was new so that was a while ago.

So KJ and KK are both the same hooks?

The local junk yard has 1 hook for $10 but he couldn't tell me if it was KJ or KK so I balked. If they're the same I think I'll pick it up.

Also are they ambi or is there a left and right?
