Hello all. When I begin my lift installation, where is the best place to position the jack stands? I saw in another post, someone put them in the very front/back. Is that the best spot? Thx

Found the photo I was looking for! Tommudd’s garage, 2014!

Jack stands on frame rails (such as they are on a unibody vehicle). You need downward articulation on your axles/control arms to be able to install lift springs. If you only have 2 jack stands, just do one end at a time.

To do a lift, do you need to remove the wheel well “guard”…the plastic piece on the inside of the wheel well held in by rivets?

Nerp, if you're looking for access for the front shocks on top. Open the hood and remove the battery and airbox.

Yep. I’m more paranoid and only work on one corner at a time. I also throw the tire I have off under there too if I’m crawling around.

I want something a little funnier than “Crushed by complacency” on my headstone.
