I recently bought an 02 and there is no jack or bracket under the back seat. It came with a little bottle jack stuffed in the rear cargo net. Before I go and find a lug wrench for this, I thought I would see if any of you lifted 02 folks out there still have your factory jack and lug wrench...If so, wanna sell it??

It took me a while to find one, but i finally came across an bottle jack and the holder and tool kit from an 02' in the junkyard. Be ready to expect yards to want a good chunk of cash for them. They wanted $75 for it, but the KJ it was in was in a flood and the entire interior was toast, i figured well i can pull the jack out and see if its any good and then try to work them down on the price, it was covered in mold and a thick layer of crusted dirt but it was the 02' bottle jack, later years got the scissor jack. At first i thought well i get a good tool set and holder but the jack is probably toast. Talked them down to $30 and took it home, took everything off the plastic and tossed that in a bucket of hot water and bleach and after some scrubbing it looks like new, the tools all turned out good, and surprisingly the jack was fine too! Had a line of light rust on the shaft above the point where it goes into the body of the jack, a wire brush and some fine grit sandpaper polished that back up.

Anyway, there is some used ones out there, i see them on eBay now and then, but they usually go for around $40-$60. I would definitely try to find a bottle jack version instead of a scissor jack model. Either will fit the spot for it under the seat though.
