I built a trailer for my KJ

well i had too much time on my hands and decided to build a trailer ,

i found an old trailer cheap so i bought it for the frame

You must be registered for see images


then i got my angle grinder out to play

in the mean time this came to my front door

got the body together

allmost done

off to be painted

all done

it runs 245/75R16 Cooper ST's has 2 Jerry can holders and will have a Treg off road coupling very soon

this was my first trailer build up and i am happy with the result

its a 7x4 with 20" sides

Very nice. Looks like the expedition trailers you see going for $5K over here.

DC minivan springs/axle might make a good start for a home made trailer. Cheap, lots in junkyards, and use same bolt pattern as the liberty.

Thats the Euro/Australia stock setup from Jeep to accomdate their license plate size.

What’s this a bird? A plane? NO! it’s a very nice looking trailer.
I’ve though of doing something similar to this. But I would like to completely enclose the trailer, roof and all. Again very nice handy work.
