Hissing under power

Good day to all

2005 2.8 crd when you accelerate in drive you get what would seem like blow back on the turbo when you turn it off you hear an electronic noise for about 20 seconds on driver side of motor then it shuts off need some help here pls ... any ideas?

You may have a loose turbo hose. Trace where the hoses attatch and check for signs of oil that will have blown out of the leak. That is most probably the culprit.
The noise may be the fan running for a few seconds after shutting off the engine.:shrug:

Could be a loose or more likely split/cracked on the bottom (take off to look) turbo>intercooler>engine hose(s). If the latter replace with 2n gen OEM or Samco. But if the electric noise is not a fan and persists for like 10-15 seconds after shut down it's more likely the Flow Control Valve cycling.

lightly boost it with the parking brake on and wheels chocked with a trusty mate at the pedal powerbraking it lightly untill you hear the noise and locate the boost leak dont forget to check the intercooler core and sidetanks.

Reminds me of an old New Yorker cartoon I saw years ago. Mechanic to owner - "Sir, we've found the hissing noise in your car. It's your mother-in-law in the rear seat".:icon_mrgreen:
