I currently have a Liberty LE that I bought new in 2003. It currently has 181,000 miles on it. It's been well used but not abused. Just now trying to decide to do some upgrades, like new leather seat covers and maybe a newer engine or get rid of it and move on.

Welcome! If you are looking into getting a new engine, I would save your money and get a junk yard motor from a 2005 or newer and swap over the parts you need.
