I was told by the original owner this Jeeps name was Sam so sticking with it.
He said his wife gives him shit for naming his cars, I said don't worry my Mustangs Brittany. LOL

Sam's a 02 Liberty that's under gone some minor enhancements such as:
A Rocky Road 3" inch suspension lift, 16x8 Procomp Xtreme 7089's in Flat Black, 265/75/16 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's & a Thrush Muffler.
Inside a nice upgrade from the factory stereo is a full Alpine sound system.

With the Jeep but not yet installed is a pair of Jeepin by Al Tubular Extended Length UCA's as well as a K&N filter.

One owner vehicle was owned by a "Car Guy" had a few toys in the garage was using this as a DD but wanted another full size truck.

I have a few additional upgrades I'd like to add but nothing major as I need to keep it practical.

At least you got some good UCAs
which RR lift do you have? Full spring hopefully
Has it been regeared to 4.10s? If not put that on your list of "to do's"
It will drive like it did the day it was built then with those tires
Sell the K&N filter get either a stock paper one or a Amsoil one way better
Other than that you're pretty much ready,
oh does it have full skids front to rear and tow points?

wonder why he mounted the window visors so high???They are two inches higher than they are suppose to be

Oh and bumpstops hopefully the PO installed them with that width of wheel

Yeah IDK why they were mounted so high either. They'll be coming off and I'll get some in the channel kind. Pretty sure still has the stock gears. 3:73's...
Thanks for heads up on filter. Think front is full spring maybe spacers rear I know has spacers though... I put a D-ring in the rear hitch. I want to fab up a nice front skid have some aluminum left from another project.

For front points I want to do the D-rings aalso. Have been lurking around but can't find hard info.

Have read 2.5 inch and as much as 4 inches of a drop for the hitches in order to center it in the current holes in the bumper. I don't want to cut more of the bumper.

What drop hitch should I use?

I pulled the spare and holder for it off last night cause it still had stock size spare. Going to make some spacers so I can get a fith full size wheel and tire and mount it back on the gate.

I also want to add a roof top light bar.

Nice jeep man! And a 02!

Thanks! What's different about the 02's?

I read they sit a little higher then the next years in a review.

Is there more??

Is the 02 Libby like the 99 Cherokees?
I know 99 is the favored year for those.

The 2002 and early 2003 models have the stronger 45RFE transmissions. The '02 also had the pre-lowered suspension, which is kind of a moot point now... especially if you're still riding on original springs/shocks.

What he said. About the 45RFE transmissions, did not know about the suspension. Every day you learn:icon_cool:

Didn't make it to the event this weekend. But will try and get to the next one.
Have a 91 Mustang project in the works. Trying to get it back on road for a little bit before winter.
