sorry for a stupid question but im sick of taking my wifes cup holders out to clean the change and junk out of them constantly.

what do you all do for coin storage and/or trash?

I was about to buy one of these as I used them in my old Stang for change:

Go to walmart and look in the automotive dpt. They sell coinholders for $3-4 and they fit right in your cupholders..

Could use a small (8oz. ?) margarine cup. After you empty is of course.

Basically free, fits into the cup holder, and when it's full she can pop on the top and carry it to the coin machine in the supermarket.

I just put it im the door pull then if a coin flys out when i shut the door I take it all in the house to the little girls piggy bank. I know it doesnt help but thats what I do.:shrug:

it is her ride not mine so it is her problem not mine
if it is in my way when I ride in it then I "move it"
basically put it on her seat or on the floor on her side of the car/Jeep (we have both)

Smokers group comes with an ashtray that fits in the cup-holder, I had it, and used it for coins ever since I got my jeep. Easy to stash or take with me when I leave the jeep with a valet as well.

That ashtray in the dash was only in the 02 MY (with smokers group) I think.

But you can't take it with you, can you?
The ashtray cupholder is never there anyway, I stash it in the armrest. I have an alarmclock where you have your ashpan. My radio can only show time or title, or one of the other 50 display selection, but not both at the same time, I bought a $5 alarmclock and placed it next to cig lighter.

More expensive than the Mustang cupholder insert you linked to but Chrysler has the OEM Smoker's Package available here.

May fit perfectly but a generic version from Wally World, Autozone or some place like that may be just as good.

I keep mine under the passenger mat so it doesn't rattle and doesn't move or roll around anywhere. I hate rattles! :smokin:

Stock smokers package was a $30 add-on. So $27 is a killer deal! LOL
