In NYC it is 50 as well.. Not sure why everyone so surprised... You will definitely get pulled over if you wiz by doing 75, for sure, although I've hit 90 a few times and it feels like I am doing 120, because everyone else is so slow.

Basic warranty up here is 3 years 60,000kms(36,000 miles). Mine had the 5 year 100K warranty. I bought this just off lease at 62K.

Yeah, now I can go whole hog in the aftermarket mods.nana.gif(partysmile)(woot)

Yep now you can do anything to the KJ! Good for at least another 60k IMO.

I got a "certified brand spankin used" at 42k, came with powertrain warranty till 80k (Iowa).

Shortly after I upgraded to the "Lifetime" powertrain warranty, we'll see how that goes...especially with my dealer recently closing...

So they only give you a 100km warranty? If thats only 62k then you got the shaft, we get 70k. And I just turned over 40k on my 04. :)
Ppssshhh. I only got 3 year / 30k. My window regulator went out at 34K.

Mine was 3/36k, and 7/70k I think on the powertrain....:)

Yes, mine too. I bought it new and that's what I got.....so my 3/36 is long gone but I still got the 7/70 powertrain warranty on mine.

But It might have been different for different years as I thought they discontinued the 7/70 powertrain warranty somewhere along the line.

Then there's those who bought used and different warranties could be available, or purchased etc. Then there's the lifetime powertrain warranty that came into being sometime in 07 (not sure exactly when). I know my son bought a JK in 07 and it was before the lifetime powertrain warranty came into being.

Mine is an 04, bought it at 80,000km. As far as I know up here in canada up to 03 the warranty was 5year 100.000km then in 04 they extended it to 7year 115.000 on the powertrain. But little did I know that after the initial bumper to bumper warranty run out you have to pay a deductable, ours is 100.00. Dealer did not tell me that when I bought it. Then when It needed t/c repair and my wife was at the dealer and out of town she called me at work and told me this, so I called the dealer that sold it to me(same dealer that was doing the reapir) and he explained it to me and said he was sorry for not explaining it to begin with, anywho I guess that's why in 05 they went back to the 5/100.000km warranty cause too many people were pissed off.

We get burned in Canada!
For example, Hyundai in the U.S.A. gets 100,000.00 mile warranty.(160934.4 kilometres)
Here in Canada you get 100,000.00 Kilometers.(62137.119 224 miles)
You Americans get an additional 37862.9 miles more warranty on the very same Hyundai vehicle! (Ok, it's a Hyundai, but my point being is that you folks get that much more warranty coverage!)
BTW, our '04 is sitting at 182.375 KM/113,322.7 miles on the clock and still going strong!
We also bought an additional 24000 km power train warranty/14 913.00 miles.
What a total waste of cash! The company that Honor's the power train warranty some how doesn't think that that a water pump isn't part of the power train!
