Hi guys! Often I’ll get fumes/exhaust gas that I can smell from inside the jeep. For example when I’m idling & I can smell things from the outside a lot more than I think I should. It’s always when I have the vents blowing out air.

Are there any filters?
Any recommendations?

Thank you

There is another current post on here with that issue, have a look at that.

I learned my EGR was leaking fumes one day when it was very cold.
I noticed smoke coming from under the hood and figured out it was the EGR leaking fumes.
Keep the heating system on recirc. It will draw a lot less fumes that way.

I occasionally get smoke from under the hood, which I associate to an occasional oil drip, coming from rear passenger side valve cover.
