The best filters for your KJ will Be Mobil 1, Purolator, K&N (which also has a 1"inch nut on bottom for easy removal) among others. Fram aint on the good books around here, there are much better choices as mentioned above.

The bottom line is .....
Just change your oil and filter regularly..with what ever works for you.:whip:
Everyone has a preference, mine will be the K&N for the KJ.

well be thankful you have such choices
our new ride can only get the filter from the dealer
I have looked and even flea-bay is the same price as the dealer
and the part number is the same

oh and that price is $15+
and the car mfg calls for Mobile 1 SYN ,6 QT's worth of 5W20

K&N doesn't filter as well as paper filters.

This applies to air and oil filters.

So what does TBJ use then for oil filters?
Never heard before that K&N did not filter as well as paper elements.
I know my oil stays prety clean with the K&N and no oil flow problems or leaks ever.

No, K&N's filter media is not paper. If it was, it wouldn't be serviceable and cleanable.
