That's wierd, good catch. I'm always an leary of ***@ gmail.com addresses, spammers usually use gmail addys

so the running boards are a scam?
Could be the first pic the guy came across and used it instead of taking a picture of his own, or it could be a scam. I would get a spam email address and use that to contact the person asking if the picture is of the boards he is selling. If he says yes, ask him for another picture from another angle. If you get a bunch of excuses or spam emails, it is most likely a scam. If you do get more pics of the running boards without the endcap on one piece then it is likely to be true.
