EVIC in center console

Well I've got the EVIC ( I've actually "acquired" two ) and then thought... since I've got to install this thing and then run wiring all the way down to the bottom of the dash.... why hasn't anyone ever mounted this thing in the center console storage slot.... now I'm no super car audio wizard than can customize a sweet console but... I'm considering since I was planning on wiring the EVIC up temp to make sure everything worked and was what I wanted prior to cutting up the headliner... thoughts? comments? ideas? suggestions for materials?

Very interesting question... anyone? BTW were you able to find and EVIC with TPMS? I have been looking for a while with no luck ;(

Well I got one with module #56010520AD which is a 06' module with HomeLink as well as a #56042756AG which per the link you referenced ( and I used prior to purchasing the first one ) includes both Homelink and TPMS.

Well haven't had time to decide which one I'm using yet. Got my replacement/second/the one to cut up dash surround yesterday.... also have one of the EVICs totally taken apart. It's looking even eaier than I imagined with one issue remaining.... those seven buttons....otherwise it's simply one smallish circuit board and the display via a ribbon cable... two slots in the dash surround tinted plexiglass to cover everything up ....but then those darn buttons..... hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
