I am trying to figure out where code 499 came from. I have been dealing with electrical issues, and got everything straight. Then, out of nowhere, I get this code. I ran a bidirectional scanner, and tested the solenoid. I heard it click, when I commanded it to do so. Then I was going to run the evap cycle testing with the scanner, but thought I'd read up on it more before I do something I shouldn't. In any case, I recorded the sound is making, while running, and the sound it makes when I turn it off.. it's definitely in the evap system, just not sure what it is... Any insight?
I checked under, where the canister is, but didn't see anything obvious. It definitely smells like gas under there, but can't see any visual areas..
