couldnt tell yea, my dealership did it all for me when i bought it lol. I keep it clean, every week i open the hood, check the fluids and clean it up. still looks like that just less shiny lol

Yeah, some sort of degreaser I think. It looks really sharp. Maybe gunk? I need to try that stuff one day.

time out, I think mine looks different inside. I thought the inside of mine has a box that says 3.7L, up by the throttle body, anyone else have this? its an 03....maybe I am thinking I saw something elsewhere....

Just go look at it. The 3.7L is on the intake and Jeep is on the air filter box.

Mine was like that before I had the intake. There was a plastic box covering the TB.

Yup. Also known as a 'silencer' box. They took them away after 03.
