Hey everyone.
Just lately the the KJ has been doing some weird things.

If I am low on washer fluid the odometer says lowwash and dings when the jeep is started.

Well lately it has been doing that repeatedly while driving.
Then at one point the who;e cluster went dead and the trans light came on.
We were stopped at the time.

Then it all went away. But it keeps happening. An yes, there is washer fluid.

Just this past weekend I replaced my struts and had to move the relay box to do that. Not sure if that would have anything to do with it.
I also noticed, when I removed the battery tray that there was a weird plug at the bottom of it connected to the main wiere loom.
Not sure what that is.

Anyone experience anything like this?

you answered it yourself...

go back through all the connections you messed with doing the suspension and you will more then likely find a loose connector.

x2 as above: Check all connections & FUSES.
The battery pad located within the battery tray is the temperature sensor wire for the battery.

Thanks guys

Battery temp sensor eh?
That's cool.
:party52:

The battery temp sensor is a Thermistor ie. it is a resistor that changes (reduces) resistance as it gets hoter. The PCM (ECM in the CRD), senses the temperature and changes the charging voltage accordingly. Do not remove or short out this sensor as you will get a CEL. I had to do a fair amount of work in this area on my CRD due to a wiring problem that the agents could not find but I eventualy did.
