Driving in the snow

So yesterday was my first time driving my 06 Liberty sport in the snow, is there anything I should know about the 4wd? I was in 4-hi on a hill and the tires were spinning.

If you have an 06, that means you have electronic traction control and stability control:

***** Keep constant pressure on the gas pedal *****

The computers will automatically apply the brakes to whichever wheel is spinning. The knee-jerk reaction when spinning is to back off the throttle, but don't. Keep it consistent.

Better tires will help too.
