I've been researching my '05 Liberty and saw a couple youtube video's that explain the Command Trac 1, which I believe it has. Apparently the lucky guys our that have Trac Loc, so they aren't one-wheel pealing all over the place in 2H.

I looked up my build sheet and it shows the info below. I assume I'm not one of the lucky ones with LSD, right? What's the typical price for the LSD from a scrap yard? That upgrade might be worth the money.

better than a poke in the eye I guess but not much better
Good tires help more than anything

I would not bother with a Junk yard Trac-Lok.
I have one and it works well but had to have the clutches rebuilt under warranty @ low miles even. They also require LSD additive and lube changed every 12k miles.
Like Tom said tires are the best and find a good set of AT tires. I also have 17" rims.
A DTT- Detroit true trac would work well but they are not cheap with labor...
BTW Command Trac is engage only on slippery surfaces, mud, snow, loose gravel etc.

I didn't realize they were not in favor, but I can see why now.
