Compression Questions

I want to check the compression on my 05, I know you have to get to the GLow plugs but I don't know where to find a tool or what numbers the compression should be at.
Also wondering how much air should be exiting the oil fill, when I turned the oil cap over and set it on the fill the pressure kind of bounced it a little. Is this normal?

Has it been running badly? If not I would not worry about a little CC pressure, all diesels have a little pressure. At least all the ones I ever owned did.

No its not running bad, I have just been noticing some smoke under light acceleration. My F250 PSD doesn't smoke near as much under light acc, and it would just be good to know.
