This is a pretty old build. But thought id toss a few pics up.

Started in 02. Sold it "uncompleted" in late 05.

bought it back in worst shape than it was when I sold it in july of 12.

Now I'm working on getting it fixed up.

Current setup:
85 chevette body
chevy luv/homemade frame
3.8 buick v6
th400 from commando
d18 from ecj5
front leaves from ecj5
Scoutt 44 front and d44 rear from 71 waggy 5:13 gears dual lockers
35" tires

I was 16 when I started this and ha dno knowledge at all. Now ive gained alot and there is ALOT I need to change. But it'll happen slowly.

$50 car I started with.

Well I chopped this thing apart. It's axles have been laying here waiting for a new project.

That project has arrived.

"Run of the mill", meaning the lower fenders, rocker panels, rear corners, floor boards, and frame are all rusted to hell? lol
Just kidding, yours "shows" nice. But like many, I too had one that fit that description. What's left of it is now in storage bins in the garage. Wanna guess what's hiding beneath that nifty diamond plate!

One hole in the frame. Rr at shackle.
A small section of drivers floor board and rocker is rusted through.

Body mounts are solid

But it'll only bee a hood and grille anyways

I have already netted nine hundred and $25 in parts off of it and I still have the frame suspension in the body that I'm going to be using

It will be getting a 4.3 with a 700r4 and a 208 transfer case and 44s out of the Chevette.

I'm not entirely decided on the suspension yet
