Car wash

Is it safe to go through the automatic car wash with the bumper mounted fog lights or should I just hand wash to avoid snapping them off?

Anything that can get snagged will get snagged if you're going through a car wash with the spinning brushes. I've seen those things get caught on roof rails and plastic bumpers pulling them off. They scratch the crap out of your paint anyways id use brushless car washes.
