Hi all. We had the C1015 code on the 06 Liberty. So we replaced the right front wheel speed sensor and the EPS/ABS/BAS/traction lights are still on. Any ideas? We broke the old sensor inside the hub and had to drill the old one out but dont think we went too far to damage anything.

My cheapo code scanner didn't scan for ABS codes so we had it scanned at O'Reilly's and they gave me the code. Would it be worth it to take it back to see if they can clear it? I've read where ABS codes should clear themselves.

What do you think my next move should be? Check for bad bearings?

Best is to download the 2006 Jeep KJ Service Manual here.

Section 5 describes how the ABS system works.
Section 8W gives the wiring diagrams whereby you can trace the wires from the sensors to the ABS unit to check for shorts or open circuits.
The wiring diagrams will also show which fuses are used in the ABS system and where the Grounding points are...bad grounds can cause a lot of problems.
