blower motor resistor

when blower motor resistors go bad on the libby's which speeds normally are effected? It seems that i dont get any air flow hot or cold from speed 1 in my renegade. Im thinking that the blower motor resistor is gone bad, but I always though that when they went out you lost 2 speeds not just one. Maybe its just me but i dont feel any air coming out on speed 1.

Usually it's 1 and or 4. But it varys. Sounds like that is your problem though.

yea thats kinda what i figured. is there anyway that anyone knows how to know for sure that the resistor is bad, is it just a visual inspection? Also on the libby's where is the resistor located? im guessing behind the glovebox like most vehicles?
