I have had destination mt's on my xj and for an mt I got 44k miles out of them before I sold the truck and there was probably a good 20-25k for the next owner, and on my tj I had destination ats which were better in rain and deep snow.

Like I said
Never ran a real MT
Just because it has "MT" in the name does not
make it as much an MT as others
And if was an MT made for real off roading
it would would have been shot by 40k and of no use
off road
Softer rubber = better traction
Also = crap for tread life

hence the reason I didn't go for the intercos like I had on my f250 460 when I was in high school 40in thornbirds and probably would only get 25 -30k out of them but I sold it and bought my tj when I was a senior.

i personaly like the Grabbers, TOYO's, and then BFG's. in that order. Ive had all 3 of them, they all offer the same type of ride comfort, but the the TOY's lasted longer.

X2.

The other thing with BFG A/T's is that when you air them down the tread blocks actually squeeze together and reduce the amount of grip the tire has to offer!

yea i dodnt use the BFG's for much of a traction factor, mainly road use. lasted pretty long with rotation of course, just like any other tire

I think its going to be a set of grabbers to replace my 33x10.50s bfg ats or another set of bfg ats, I figure 55k out of my cj with this set on top of 7 years they been on the jeep has been a pretty good run.
