I don't have a close up picture of how it's mounted (the hardware is provided, and it's easy).

That looks really good, and i like how flush it sits against the roof!
I do not have the factory cross rails, but is that what you have it mounted to?
Thanks!

Here is mine, I fabricated the cross bars using electrical strut rated at 5000 lbs. so they are plenty sturdy. Here are some pics and I have a parts list somewhere if you want me to dig it up. I have since sprayed the bars with some textured black paint, they have held up very nicely.

Used the home made roof rails that someone posted once out on LOST - they're really easy to do, and help the basket to sit low:

I want to do that soo bad!! But i can't find those damn quick clamp tee's anywhere!!!

Well i take that back i found them online for like $7 each.. ouch.

Where did you get yours? I have been to every store i can think of. I even called Harbor Freight, don't carry them, so it must not be all stores.

I got the last 6 clamps that a Harbor Freight had - I had to drive to one of the locations that was 45 mins away though. I got 4 for the rails, and I thought I'd hang on to 2 more in case I decide to make a light bar someday.

Within that thread, there are other options/vendors of where to get something similar. I lucked out when I decided to build mine.

Yeah you did get lucky, cause the other places they mention are $6-$7 each plus another $8-10 shipping. I would have too much into just the ends to justify making a set instead of buying something.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the basket (in this case BlackWidow brand) can be mounted to the roof rails without crossbars, no?

Good to know. I am thinking of getting the RL steel replacement rails and the BW basket. Guess I will have to weld a bar or two to the RL rails. - Thanks.
