Ok... Good deal, thanks for the info guys! Looks like i got a project coming up. I have been looking at this compressor for a while thinking it would be cool to put a 12v compressor on it and let it ride in the KJ for emergencies.

It might have a pressure switch in the tank, or it could be on the compressor head itself, i don't remember where it was the last time i took it apart, will have to tear it apart again and look, at least Napa has them if i need to run and get one.

I was figuring a relay might be necessary, i doubt the pressure switch could handle the 20-30 amps of the compressor.

i bought a little cheap air compressor from asc and its really small some ppl might say man that little thing aint going to work after you are offroading lol but she works fine with me lol. it plugs into the cig lighter and i paid $10 for it

Those are perfectly fine in emergencies. But lordamercy they take 4 evah! to fill the tire.

I have a 2 gallon Task Force 100psi tank compressor that runs off 110ac that as soon as I get a beefier inverter will be coming with me when I offroad. My little 400 watter doesn't cut it.

Anyhoo, love that tank compressor. I can fill all four of my tires very quickly with it. And it's very portable.
