I was looking at the Haynes Manual to see if they make one that covers our 2.8 CRD engines. One item states they are covered and the other says Gas engines only. Has anyone ordered a repair manual from them? I also wanted to ask on here the best way to remove the engine ? It don't look like much access to the bell housing bolts or the torque converter bolts. Any advice would be appreciated.

Drop ****** on a jack, Gotta use LOTS of extensions ,or I had a neighbor climb on top and got some bolts with a wrench ! Also when I put mine on a stand, the bolts were 3/8 X16 thread, not Metric.

Don't waste your money! All the Factory Service Manuals can be viewed and / or downloaded at this Website:
The FSM's cover the 2.8 engine; the FSM has a whole section dedicated just to it. Also has complete wiring diagrams for the diesel versions. ;)
