I live in Canada and have a 05 liberty with the 3.7 when I use my 4hi I get my “part-time” light but whenever I go into 4lo, I have no lights. Even though I have no lights, I do know that the light is not burnt out and that 4lo does work. Any ideas?

Always the switch on the transfer case.
Use a geniune MOPAR part and get at it from inside the jeep, rather than underneath.
Pop out the center console insert and remove a bit. It is easily accessible from there. Be careful with the connector, and save the oring from the old one as a new one does not come with the switch.
I *think* 1 & 1/8 socket but that might be wrong.
I tore my old switch apart and found it all gummed up inside, but not worth the time to try and make it watertight again.
