33x12.50 Duratracs

So I have 31s and they actually measure up to 31 inches and it pulls them fine. And my buddy just bought some 33x12.50 duratracs and they actually measure up to 32x11. So my question is if I got the 33s(Technically 32s) would I HAVE to regear or could I just walk the line of not having to regear?

Bye-bye D30A:wave:,plus you will need more then 4" of lift(more like 5"-6") to even run them and yes you will need to regear unless your going downhill all the time.

To much tire for the D30A to handle offroad.

Yep 4.56's for 32" tires would be in the sweet spot.Heck I should have gone to 5.38's for 35" tires here at 6200',but 5.13's sure make it fun at 1500'.

Most 265/75R16's are pretty much right at 32",most are between 31.5" and 31.9" tall.

you will also need closer to 4 inches of real lift too. ie 23inches wheel center to fender up front plus 3 inches(hockey pucks) of bump stop in the back to keep on your fenders.

I've been buying my 4" lift piece by piece already.

I want to upgrade my tires as well. I just want 265's though. I just can't afford the regear so I'm SOL. Whenever I look at mine with the lift and on 245's they still look too small to me.

I would say so I ran 265/70 17's (31.6") for a month with out regearing lost some power went down to 31x10.5 15s got power back
