2nd key from dealer

Seems like thats the best, make them pay for it. But perhaps you might want them to pay for having it done at the actual Jeep dealer, cause i doubt their ability to do it... LOL

There is NO WAY I'm letting this dealer touch my Jeep. I will be going to the Jeep dealer across the street and having them handle the new key. Then walk back to my dealer and hand them the bill.

I had the same deal with my 2005 Rene. I purchased a key from a local dealer for $145 and they cut and programmed it for free. I could have gotten it a bit cheaper on ebay, but I figured that if there were any issues, I would have trouble getting them resolved.

Whereabouts in CT are you? I'm in South windsor.
