2008 3.7 4x4 Motor replacement

My 2008 has 50k miles original motor and trans

Rockers broke and killed my engine!!

This vehicle means a lot to me….

I need find a replacement that will not do same thing again.

looking at alternatives:
Will the 4.0 Nitro mate to the 42RLE?

Others will probably recommend Jasper engines … I have no personal experience but they have a good reputation.

Jasper doesn't sell directly, only to installers. I recently used Fraser for an engine replacement on my 2004 Yukon. They're essentially an engine retailer for various builders including Jasper. One thing I did hear a lot when looking was to stay away from "atk" which is what many parts stores use. As far as for the 4.0, anything can be done, but it's a lot of extra expense and work for little gain.
