hey guys, newbie to the site but not to the forums. i found the how to on tweaking the keyless system, but i cannot get the hazards to work when unlocking and locking my jeep. they worked fine up until about 2 weeks ago. i have checked all the fuses and all seem good. any tips or suggestions on how to get them working again, thanks guys!

forgot to mention that the hazards and directionals work fine. also, when the panic button is pressed the lights flash(head, tails, and hazards) and horn work fine as it should...

You can enable/disable the lights flashing when you use keyless entry, maybe you accidentally disabled it. I'll quote the owner's manual for a 2005 KJ (page 26):

---
1. Press and hold the lock button on the transmitter.
2. Continue to hold the lock button, wait at least 4 but no longer then 10 seconds, then press the rear release button.
3. Release both buttons.
4. Repeating steps 1-3 will restore original transmitter operation.

Hope this helps, I dont know if it will work for an 07 but it should.

Sorry but I didn't look at the how to so I dunno what's in it exactly. When someone gives me useless or stupid advice I just ignore it.

Here's my take on the situation: You said the hazards and turn signals work fine. The relay for the hazards is built into the switch I think. But if the relay was bad then I doubt the hazards would work. If anything I bet its just a programming issue with the remote, but I could be wrong...
