I just bought a stock 2006 Jeep Liberty 65th Anniversary Edition. It is not modified in any way...no lift kit, no nothing.

It has Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's on it, OEM P235/70R16.

Am thinking about putting on a set of Goodyear Dura Tracs, but do not know what sizes I can mount without any rubbing.

Would like to put on LT265/75R16 or LT285/75R16

Help!?!?!?!?

Welcome first off
Now on to the question
245-70-16s are about the largest you can fit stock, ( depending on miles on yours and how much the springs have sagged.
NO WAY you will get 265-75-16s on with out at least a 4 inch lift, regear to 4.10s and some cutting
285-75s well :happy175::happy175::happy175::happy175::happy175::happy175:no way at all
well there is but......................

I like the way you think!! Tell momma that you HAVE to get springs/shocks for safety reasons, then get some MAN TIRES of your flavor.

My 06 65th anniversary edition is unlifted, with the biggest duratracs I could fit...

215/85r16. 8.5" section width, 7" tread width, 30.4" height

What most people run lifted:

245/75r16 (duratracs): 9.8" section width, 7.5" tread width, 30.5" height

And even though the 215 might sound narrow, it's wider than stock because of the tire type.

215/85/16 fit perfectly well but very few made them in "D" load version (65psi) they are almost all "E" load and need 80 psi (reed very hard ride) , some ride them at 40 psi to get back some confort...

"D" and "E" load tires are heavy and you loose mpg running them, best compromise is "C" load tire but none are fabricate in 215/85/16 size to my knowledge.

They make DuraTracs in 225/75/16. That's what I run right now, and they look/work great! After you save for a lift during the next 40,000 miles, replace them with bigger ones.

Mine are E rated, but I have never put 80 psi in them. Depending on my travel I change it up between 35-60 psi. At 35-40 psi they will flex beautifully and grab onto rocks. The reason I don't run this pressure all the time is I like to take corners faster than I should sometimes. At 55-60 psi the sidewalls won't bend and flex and I have much better lateral grip.

I popped a C range tire riding on the beach...a shell punctured the tire. I gave up on C range that day.

My MPG has not gone down in the city, I might have lost .5-1 mpg on the highway. I love this tire size.

Slightly North of the 49° th. Parallel... In HongC
Even with 4 inches of lift and 245-75-16 inch Goodyear M/T R Kevlar tires...
They are not big enough!
Had I only rotated all 5 of my M/T R's and worn them all out, I would be rolling on
a set of 32's!

Time to get out the grinder and cutting wheels and start to radius the front fenders...
Plasma cutter for the rears and just weld the rear doors shut!
