I was bleeding the coolant system by unscrewing the bleeder screw, well i unscrewed it a little too much and it shot up and i cant find it. Ive spent hours looking for this thing. Does anyone know the size of this? Perhaps i can find something at a hard wate store to replace it for the time being? I really need my vehicle to get to formatiom tomorrow morning and any input would be greatly appreciated!

Take one off a junkyard wreck if you can't find a part #

I'm not sure where you are located. If you mean the radiator bleeder or petcock they sell them around me at pepboys, autozone, advanced auto and some of those other places I buy my air fresheners and car wax. Look in the "Help" product section. Might check there first.

If you mean the metal air purge, I'd think someplace like Lowes or HD might have something as a temp replacement. Probably in the plumbing dept and might have to buy a few to get the right size.

Ok thanks. Eh this may sound stupid but whats the best way to explain to them at the hardware store what i need, I'm sure they're not gonna get a vivid picture of what I'm trying to get.

Bad news. That's metric, chances of one in a plumbing section are much the same as IcyPops in Hell. I'd come nearer buying a stick of wooden dowel rod slightly oversize and whittle a chunk down until I could force it into the threads long enough to get to a dealership or salvage yard.

We have a pretty decent selection of metric stuff in the HD around me. Maybe if the OP is close to water and marine supply might have it. Also a real plumbing supply place might have a better selection as opposed to the big home stores. Really just need a plug of those dimensions doesn't matter if it has a hex recess or protruding hex etc as long as the thread size is right.

I bought an extra one but will have to overnight it to you if you really want me to.
There's a 24/7 fedEx nearby.

In my opinion, most dealership wont have it unless it has a warehouse.
There was Zero in the whole state of AZ and they had to ship it in from LA.

oh and I should mention, it's only a $2-3 part from the dealership.
Just call one up.

I called the dealer in my town for one. There is a screw up on the parts fiche. Lists the plug as a bolt, same numbers as a water pump bolt or something. Anyway, they said it was a "non-serviceable" item and they couldn't get it. I think they just be full of shit and didn't wanna look

Yup.
They are full of S***.
Nothing wrong with the part number.
Should be described as a timing cover plug.
