I have removed the door panel and have pioneer 6.5inch speakers and wanted to repace the old stock speakers. I have romoved the stock speakers but now the pioneers wont fit. The speaker is the right size but the Ring is to small. Is there aftermarket beauty rings or anything? Help please.

For my rear door speakers I needed adapter rings to get them to fit. They were included with the speakers I got from Crutchfield. By the way, they are great to order from and always include everything you need, even with the $39 speakers I purchased.

Isn't the true size of Chrysler door speakers 6.75" not 6.5"? Thus necessitating the need for the adaptor ring? Some speakers are even sold with a mounting flange that meets both 6.5" and 6.75" mounting patterns.

Correct... They are a 6 3/4" opening. The stock speakers are actually a 6 1/2" speaker but they have a larger metal surround which makes them equal a 6 3/4" in mounting size.

You just need an adapter ring or make up some mounting tabs. Back in the day i used to do this with scrap aluminum strap, a self tapping screw into the strap from the speaker and then drill a hole in the other end and re-use the factory holes and screws for mounting the strap to the door.

I don't know what an adapter ring costs these days though, might be cheaper and less work to just do that now.
