05 liberty cruise quits and erratic speedo

My cruise will quit working and my speedometer becomes erratic? Is this the sensor on top of the rear end? Hard to change out? Thanks,

98 % of the time its the wiring thats bad, up near body. MOPAR even makes a kit for it . Out of maybe 8 or 9 I have changed wiring on, only had one with a bad sensor thats located on top of the diff.
So check wiring first, although most times you can't even see it
