    You wouldn't need the fan to push the cold air - it's already going to be cold around the neck when you first start up prior to reaching op temp. Nope. This would only tell you if insulation helps, not if the fan is the culprit (because it's not).

    Hell if I know. But anytime I've had a regulator fail, the window just stops working. And getting those out and the new one in is a giant pain in the anus. You have to play twister with it.
